Front of House - Anna Michalle Tucker
Congratulations to Anna Michalle Tucker, who was voted in as Front of House! :)
The next General Meeting of the Players will be on Tuesday October 20th 12:15- 1pm. The Meeting will be held at Alumni Hall, more information to follow.
We have a T-shirt contest that we've extended the deadline to October 22nd for the design. Please submit your design to the Players' Office during office hours. You're welcome to stick the designs in Patrick or Bailey's mailbox. The winning design will be picked and announced for the Players' shirts after the deadline ends.
The auditions for the Student Dramatist Showcase will be on October 22nd from 6pm - 9pm in classroom 110, in Alumni Hall, across from the Players' Office. The Student Showcase is written, directed, and starring students. Please prepare a one minute monologue. There will also be cold readings provided.
Also, the reservation lines are open to take reservations for the GSU Players' upcoming show of Getting Out. Please call the office and leave a message to make your reservation today! :)

Fight Choreography Workshop
The Players of GSU will have a fight choreography workshop this Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 1pm until 5pm in Veteran's Memorial Hall. There is a maximum of 20 people that can participate in the workshop, the rest will have to watch. It will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please come and support us! :) The workshop is free for paid members and $10 for unpaid members.

APO Meeting
There will be an APO meeting Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 5:00pm in classroom 110. For those of you interested, please come! This will help us gauge how many people would like to be in Alpha Psi Omega so that we can bring the chapter back. I think we will have enough involvement to do so! Lunchtime Theatre at GSU
20 PLAYS! 45 MINUTES!
Join the students in THEA 4850 Directing for their first production project, "The Dining Room Plays," Tuesday, September 15, at 12:15 p.m. in the Alumni Hall Theatre at Courtland and Auditorium.
For their first project, the class offers food for thought by writing, directing and performing a series of six-line scenes all with the same setting. Drawn from the work of Charles Marowitz, the six-line scene exercise challenges students' creativity while allowing them to focus on specific performance skills (in this case, script analysis and working with actors) in a highly concentrated format.
Admission is free. Please drop in if you're in the neighborhood. Sorry, but you can't bring your lunch, as there's no food or drink allowed in the seating area.
