Dialect Workshop

The Dialect Workshop has been pushed back to November 30th. Please attend and show your support for the Players of GSU.

The Players of GSU are proud to present a Dialect Workshop presented by Mr. Danny Housley. The price will be $10 for nonmembers who would like to attend and FREE for members (the membership dues are $10, wink wink). This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in auditioning for our upcoming production, Hay Fever. You will need to speak with a British accent for the upcoming show and this gives you the means to learn how. Come out and support us by attending our workshop! :)

Student Showcase

Come out and support our students! The Student Showcase is directed by, starring, and written by students. Come and show your support! :)

Hey this is it!!!! I am in the Student Showcase this year where all the plays are written and acted by GSU students. Please come!!! In case it is confusing there will be two perfomances. One on friday and the other on Saturday. The one I am in is the second to go on but I hope you will stay for the entire thing. I hope ya'll can come :) It's $5 for any students and $10 for the general public.

Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity GSU Student Group

I wanted to touch base about getting the word out to GSU for our upcoming production of Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity. I have $15 tickets to performances on the following dates if tickets are ordered by November 9th, making the show very affordable for students and academia. Ideally, I’d love to get a student group together from GSU.

The shows I have the $15 tickets for are the following:

Thurs. 12/3 @ 10 AM
Fri. 12/4 @ 10 AM
Tues. 12/8 @ 8 PM
Wed. 12/9 @ 7 PM
Thurs 12/10 @ 8
Fri 12/11 @ 8

Theatre Students Wanted for Hire for Upcoming Show

My name is Janea Rowe and I am the Marketing Coordinator for Lang Holdings in Delafield, WI. My company is exhibiting at the Atlanta Gift Show in January and is looking potentially to hire a few of your students to assist us at the show. I am wondering if you can put me in contact with a Theater professor at your university.

Specifically, we would like to hire 8-10 theater students to walk around the show in a costume (the costume would be minimal and simple) to promote our company. The dates are January 7th, 8th and 9th; hours would be approximately 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with schedule breaks and lunch.
